Nan Goldin- Goodman Gallery

I went to the Goodman Gallery last week-end to see the Nan Goldin's exhibition.

One of the most important and influential artists of her generation, Goldin has revolutionized the art of photography through her frank and deeply personal portraiture.

I've always been a huge fan of her work but I've never seen any pictures of her in real life before last month.

The exhibition at the Tate was wonderful, the Ballad of Sexual Dependency is my favourite book of photography. But this week-end in the Goodman Gallery I've discovered a lot of works, I had no idea she had made films and collaborations.

There is 3 project room and 5 films in total. One is a diapositive of her work like at the Tate, and the 4 others are collaborations and montage with pieces of movies and sometimes pictures.

I came out with so much inspirations and ideas and a big desire to create.
